Raw (sheng) pu-erh tea is a kind of pu-erh tea that is made from non-fermented large green tea leaves that were picked, roasted, sun-dried and then steamed for being compressed into round disks called cakes.
This Hawian puerh was selected old tea tree from Menghai area, Yunnan Province, where is obscured by fog and picked the raw tea in each early, dry tea has a pure aroma, when brew this bright yellow tea soup with floral and honey aroma, a brisk and sweet mouth feeling comes out, thick, honey sweet after taste.
How to brew Puer Tea?
Warm up the tea pot with boiling water, put about 5-8g pu-erh tea loose leaf, swirl and discard the water. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping.
After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water that about 90-95ºC (195-205ºF) and cover tea pot for 2-4 minutes, and then enjoy it!
Note: do not allow the tea leaves in your teapot continue to steep.
