Raw (sheng) pu-erh tea is a kind of pu erh tea, which is made from non-fermented large green tea leaves that were picked, roasted, sun-dried and then steamed for being compressed into brick called pu erh brick.
Dried tea's shape of this puerh tea is tight, dried, with elegant orchid aroma, a when brews, tea soup is bright yellow, tastes slightly sweet, no obvious bitterness, left a hint of smoky flavor after drink, sweet aftertaste.
How to brew Puer Tea?
Warm up the tea pot with boiling water, put about 5-8g pu-erh tea loose leaf, swirl and discard the water. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping.
After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water that about 90-95ºC (195-205ºF) and cover tea pot for 2-4 minutes, and then enjoy it!
Note: Do not allow the tea leaves in your teapot continue to steep.
