Raw (sheng) pu-erh tea is a kind of pu-erh tea that is made from non-fermented large green tea leaves that were picked, roasted, sun-dried and then steamed for being compressed into round disks called cakes.
Haiwan sheng puerh, dried pu-erh smells a hint of sweet orchid and roasted bean aroma, dried tea leaves is strong and stout, bright yellow tea soup, gentle bitterness and then sweet aftertaste came quickly, tea soup is no thick but a obviously honey sweet scent, brisk and fresh, long lasting.
How to brew Puer Tea?
Warm up the tea pot with boiling water, put about 5-8g pu-erh tea loose leaf, swirl and discard the water. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping.
After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water that about 90-95ºC (195-205ºF) and cover tea pot for 2-4 minutes, and then enjoy it!
Note: Don't allow the tea leaves in your teapot continue to steep.
