Raw (sheng) pu-erh tea is a kind of pu-erh tea that is made from non-fermented large green tea leaves that were picked, roasted, sun-dried and then steamed for being compressed into round disks called cakes.
This raw pu-erh tea's leaves was pressed tightly, dried tea leaves are stout and complete, selected raw material from old tea tree in Wuliang Mountain,this raw puerh tea is aged so there may be some holes on the package. Reddish yellow tea soup, smells a hint of floral, honey sweet, after long term storing, its smoky flavors to mellow out into something smooth.
Pu-erh tea helps increase energy levels. Setting aside a few moments to drink a cup of pu-erh can help you relax and focus before getting back to work energized.
How to brew Puer Tea?
Warm up the tea pot with boiling water, put about 5-8g pu-erh tea loose leaf, swirl and discard the water. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping.
After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water that about 90-95ºC (195-205ºF) and cover tea pot for 2-4 minutes, and then enjoy it!
Note: Don't allow the tea leaves in your teapot continue to steep.
